About this job
Our company is hiring a CDL-A Yard Jockey for a dedicated local position in the Forest, VA 24551 area. This role keeps you off the road and home daily, working set shifts with rotating days.
Pay
- Starting pay is $18.00 per hour, with overtime after 40 hours
- Weekly earnings run $950-$1,050
- Night shift differential included
- Guaranteed pay increases, with extra earning potential if you pick up a weekend or sixth day
- $5,000 sign-on bonus for new hires who start by September 18th, 2026
Schedule
- Shifts average 12 hours
- Rotating schedule: 4 days on one week (long week), 3 days the next (short week)
Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL
- At least nine months of verifiable Class A driving experience within the past three years
- Experience with Dry Van, Reefer, Container, Flatbed, and/or Tanker equipment
- Clean, safe driving history
