CDL-A Yard Driver — Home Daily, $23/hr + $1 Shift Differential

Work as a yard spotter for our company, staying on one site for your whole shift instead of running the road. You'll shuttle trailers around the yard and between dock doors with no highway miles, no multiple stops, and no customer deliveries.

What the job is like

• You're home every day on a steady schedule

• Minimal road or highway driving

• Drop and hook trailer moves within the yard

Pay

• $23.00 per hour plus a $1 shift differential

• Overtime available after 40 hours

• Paid weekly

• Referral bonus of up to $2,000 per hire who's hired and stays on

What you'll do

• Shuttle trailers around the yard and to and from dock doors

• Handle drop and hook work

• Complete pre-trip and post-trip vehicle checks

• Follow company safety rules and procedures

• Stay in contact with dispatch and yard staff

• Keep logs and paperwork up to date

Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL

• Current DOT medical card

• Clean driving history

• Prior experience driving tractor-trailers

• Able to work outside in any weather

• Able to climb in and out of the truck repeatedly during the shift
