CDL-A Truck Driver — Local and Long-Distance Routes

Our company is looking for a CDL-A truck driver to handle both local and long-distance deliveries. You'll be a key part of the team, representing the company directly to customers while keeping freight moving safely and on schedule.

What you'll do

• Operate a Class A tractor-trailer and other commercial vehicles

• Complete pre-trip and post-trip vehicle checks

• Get shipments to customers on time, whether the run is local or long-distance

• Follow traffic laws, safety rules and company procedures

• Keep your driving record clean and turn in logs and paperwork promptly

• Load and unload cargo, making sure it's secured properly

• Represent the company well during customer interactions

• Flag any vehicle maintenance issues to management right away

Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL

• Clean driving record that meets the company's fleet safety standards

• Comfortable operating and navigating different types of commercial vehicles

• Able to lift up to 30 pounds and handle loading/unloading duties

• Solid grasp of safety rules and safe driving practices

• Good communication and time-management abilities

• Able to pass a background check and drug screening, and hold an active medical card

• Familiar with DOT rules and ELD compliance

• Preferred: at least 2 years of driving experience and familiarity with GPS and routing software
