CDL-A Truck Driver — Home Daily, Minot, ND

CHS Dakota Agronomy Partners in Minot, ND needs a Truck Driver to deliver seed, grain and fertilizer to local customers. You'll be home every day, working Monday through Friday year round, with weekend work during busy seasons and plenty of overtime available.

What you'll haul

• Seed, grain and fertilizer to customers in the Minot area

• You'll run a semi-tractor and trailer, or a straight truck, depending on the delivery

What you'll do

• Load and unload freight, hook and unhook trailers, and follow proper handling procedures

• Fill out delivery paperwork and load/unload reports, and keep electronic logs accurate

• Deal directly with customers at pickup and delivery in a professional, friendly way

• Follow DOT rules and company safety policies at all times

• Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections and flag any maintenance or safety issues right away

• Report any accidents, near misses or equipment problems as required

• Lend a hand to other drivers on routes, equipment or safety when needed

• Take on other tasks assigned by your manager, including general maintenance and cleaning

Requirements

• Valid Class A or Class B CDL, matching the equipment and route

• At least 1 year of verifiable CDL driving experience

• Must meet the minimum age requirement for the role

• Able to read, write and communicate in English

• Strong focus on safety, compliance and accurate paperwork

• Comfortable working independently and handling complex routes or delivery needs

• Solid safe-driving record, including good judgment in bad weather or road conditions

• Good customer service skills with a track record of positive feedback

• Willing to work a flexible schedule, including early mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays when the job calls for it

• Able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds, climb in and out of truck cabs and trailers, and work outdoors in all weather

• May need to pass a pre-employment screening, which could include drug testing, a criminal background check, a motor vehicle check, physical requirements and an FMCSA Clearinghouse check
