CDL-A Truck Driver — Home Daily, Experienced Pay $37.18/hr

Our company is looking for a CDL-A truck driver in Whites Creek, TN for a home daily role. You'll run tractor-trailer combinations, including doubles and triples, and handle loading, unloading and some customer-facing tasks.

Pay

• Experienced drivers can start at $37.18 per hour

• Classified as a Motor Carrier Act Exempt position

Schedule

• Home daily

• Flexible hours, up to 12-14 hours per day, covering days, evenings, overnights, weekends and holidays

• Driving shifts of up to 11 consecutive hours in all weather conditions

What you'll do

• Operate a tractor-trailer, including doubles/triples configurations

• Load and unload freight

• Interact with customers and help generate sales leads

• Climb in and out of the cab/trailer, sit for long stretches while driving or operating a forklift, and walk or stand on uneven or slippery surfaces, including outdoors in bad weather

• Lift items that frequently weigh up to 50 lbs and sometimes exceed 75 lbs, and maneuver a converter dolly averaging about 128 lbs of pull force

• Perform physical tasks like reaching overhead, bending, twisting, climbing, pushing, pulling, squatting and kneeling

Requirements

• At least 21 years old

• Valid Class A CDL

• Clean driving history

• Willing to get hazmat, tank vehicle and doubles/triples endorsements within 90 days if you don't already have them (having them already is a plus)

• Forklift experience is a plus

• Pass a DOT drug screen, with no positive tests or refusals in the past 3 years

• Valid DOT medical card, or pass a DOT physical paid for by the company

• Able to read and speak English well enough to communicate with the public, understand road signs, respond to official requests and complete required paperwork, per DOT rules
