CDL-A Truck Driver — Home Daily, Drop and Hook

Our company in Allenwood, PA is looking for a CDL-A driver to run assigned routes with a schedule that gets you home every day. Most of your stops are drop and hook, so your days stay consistent and predictable. This is a 1099 position paid weekly.

Pay

• $1,500.00 - $2,500.00 per week, paid weekly

• Pay is calculated by miles driven

• 1099 contractor, you handle your own taxes

• Home daily

What you'll haul

• Freight moved over assigned routes using a CDL-A truck

• About 90% of your stops are drop and hook, keeping loading and unloading quick

What you'll do

• Drive assigned routes while following traffic laws and safety rules

• Handle drop and hook stops as the bulk of your daily work

• Keep accurate logs of deliveries, mileage and vehicle checks

• Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections

• Stay in contact with dispatch and clients on schedules and any issues that come up

• Follow company safety and operating procedures

Requirements

• Valid CDL-A with a clean driving record

• At least 2 years of driving experience

• Background in drop and hook delivery preferred

• Comfortable working independently and managing your own schedule

• Solid grasp of commercial driving safety standards

• Good communication with dispatchers and clients

• Physically able to inspect the truck and handle freight as needed

• Willing to work as a 1099 contractor
