About this job
Our company is looking for a Class A CDL driver to run a solo local route out of Bradenton, FL, hauling mixed freight for a steady weekly schedule. You'll be home every day, with paid weekly wages on this account averaging $1,540 per week.
Pay
- $28.00 per hour, with overtime at $42.00 per hour after 40 hours
- Weekly paycheck
- Paid training included
Schedule
- Monday through Friday
- First shift dispatch, with days running 10+ hours
- Home daily
What you'll haul
- Solo runs within Florida
- Day cab tractors
- Mixed trailers: 53ft dry vans and tankers
- Touch freight, hauling water
- Trucks are kept up through our company's 24/7 roadside support and a network of over 800 maintenance locations nationwide
Requirements
- At least 22 years old
- Valid Class A CDL with the right endorsements for this role
- Verifiable tractor-trailer experience: 12 months in the last 3 years, OR 2 years in the last 5 years, OR 5 years in the last 10 years
- Able to pass a our company drug screen, background check, motor vehicle check, and DOT physical, including verification of drug and alcohol history from past employers over the last 3 years
- Able to pass a our company road test
- Comfortable following written and spoken directions and applying relevant rules and regulations
- Additional requirements may apply depending on location or account
On the job, you'll be responsible for driving safely, following DOT and safety rules, keeping accurate logs, completing ongoing training, and loading or unloading freight when a customer requires it.
