CDL-A Truck Driver

Our company is looking for an experienced CDL-A driver to deliver goods to customers both locally and over longer distances. You'll be treated as a key part of the team and a trusted face of the company in front of customers.

What you'll do

• Operate a Class A tractor-trailer or other commercial vehicles safely

• Complete pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections

• Get deliveries to customer locations on time, whether local or long-distance

• Follow traffic laws, safety rules and company procedures

• Keep your driving record clean and submit logs and paperwork promptly

• Load and unload cargo, making sure it's secured properly

• Represent the company well through good customer service

• Flag any vehicle maintenance issues to management right away

Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL

• Clean driving record per the company's fleet safety standards

• Comfortable operating different types of commercial vehicles

• Able to lift up to 30 pounds and handle loading/unloading

• Solid grasp of safety regulations and driving best practices

• Good communication and time-management skills

• Able to pass a background check and drug screening, and hold an active medical card

• Familiar with DOT rules and ELD compliance

Preferred but not required: at least 2 years of driving experience and familiarity with GPS and routing software.
