CDL-A Truck Driver — Drop and Hook Only, $1,200–$1,800/Week

Our company is looking for a CDL-A company driver to run drop and hook freight for Amazon Freight out of Raleigh-Durham, NC. This is a solo, full-time position covering local and regional routes.

Pay

• $1,200.00 to $1,800.00 per week

What you'll haul

• Drop and hook loads only, no live loading or unloading

• You'll move freight between set points on local and regional routes

What the job involves

• Operate the truck safely on assigned routes and schedules

• Check the vehicle before and after each run to confirm it's roadworthy

• Follow all traffic laws

• Keep accurate records of your deliveries, miles driven and fuel used

• Stay in touch with dispatch and supervisors about any delays or problems

Requirements

• Valid driver's license with a clean record

• CDL A preferred

• At least 2 years of driving experience required

• Prior truck driving experience preferred

• Solid grasp of traffic laws

• Able to communicate clearly with dispatch, supervisors and customers

• Physically able to help load and unload heavy items

• Comfortable working independently and following directions
