CDL-A Truck Driver — Dedicated Routes, Drop & Hook

FCA Transport runs freight for our company out of terminals in Detroit, Toledo, and Windsor, Ontario, with a fleet of over 700 drivers. This Detroit-based role covers same-day dedicated lanes across Michigan, Ohio, Indiana, and into Ontario, Canada, plus on-site trailer switching work.

What you'll haul

• About 90% of freight is drop-and-hook, no-touch loads

• Mix of city driving, over-the-road same-day runs, and trailer switching between docks and holding areas

• Any shift assignment possible

Requirements

• Class A CDL with 3 years of verifiable tractor-trailer experience, or 1 year plus a certificate/degree from an accredited truck driving school

• A valid FAST card (Free and Secure Trade endorsement), or proof you'll have one before your start date

• A hazmat endorsement, or proof you'll get one before starting — keeping it is a condition of staying employed

• Clean medical status with no current variance restrictions

• A solid driving record with no DUI or OWI history

• Working knowledge of 49 CFR safe operations rules and strong vehicle handling skills

Nice to have

• Experience hauling auto components, LTL, or steel

• Background in Just in Time (JIT) delivery

• Basic computer skills and good communication

• Comfortable working as part of a team

• An active FAST card already in hand
