Our company is looking for a CDL-A Truck Driver to run tractor-trailer freight on long-haul routes across multiple states. You'll be responsible for safe, compliant driving and clear communication with dispatch throughout each trip.
Pay
- $300.00 - $350.00 per day
What you'll haul
- Freight moved via tractor-trailer on over-the-road routes spanning several states
Responsibilities
- Operate the truck safely while following DOT and FMCSA rules
- Handle long-haul runs while staying within hours-of-service limits
- Rely on GPS tools to plan routes and adjust for traffic or road conditions
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Keep accurate logs of hours, deliveries and cargo paperwork
- Stay in contact with dispatchers, customers and teammates to keep schedules on track
Requirements
- Valid CDL-A with a clean driving record
- Solid background operating tractor-trailers and handling deliveries over varied terrain
- Familiarity with FMCSA rules, DOT standards and hazmat handling
- Comfortable loading, unloading and managing cargo
- Skilled with GPS navigation for planning and real-time adjustments
- Confidence driving a manual transmission truck is a plus
