CDL-A Truck Driver — $22–$27/hr, Amazon Freight Partner

Our company is hiring a full-time W2 Class A CDL driver as an Amazon Freight Partner, running out of the Richmond/Chesterfield, Virginia area. You'll drive brand-new equipment fitted with GEOTAB ELD and Netradyne camera systems, working a slip-seat setup with another driver per truck.

Pay

• Starting pay is $22.00 to $27.00 per hour, based on experience and performance

• Weekly pay also listed as $3,036.36 to $3,656.69 per week

• Paid weekly by direct deposit

Growth opportunities

• Strong performers may move into driver-trainer or yard captain roles (split between yard duties and driving), plus overtime and paths into compliance, operations, or fleet management

What you'll haul

• Amazon Freight Partner routes using telematics-equipped trucks for route tracking and safety monitoring

Requirements

• At least 2 years of verifiable Class A CDL driving experience

• Valid Class A CDL and current medical card

• Clean driving record with no violations in the past 3 years

• Able to work comfortably with GEOTAB and Netradyne monitoring systems in the cab

• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and routine maintenance checks on tractors

• Keep dispatch updated on route progress, delivery status and any issues on the road

Preferred experience

• Prior driving for Amazon Freight or within the Amazon network

• Intermodal freight driving background

• Familiarity with Netradyne cameras and GEOTAB telematics
