About this job
Our company is looking for experienced CDL-A drivers for a dry van route with regular home time. Freight is no-touch, mostly drop and hook, and new drivers can collect a sign-on bonus on their first paycheck.
Pay
- Starting mileage pay runs $0.73 to $0.78 per mile, based on your experience and endorsements
- Sign-on bonus of $2,625 or $2,450, paid on your first check (limited-time offer)
- Annual safety bonus between $5,600 and $6,300
- You're paid on practical miles
- Extra pay for short, complete loads under 400 miles
- Anniversary bonuses each year
Home time
You'll be out for 18 days and then home for 5 full days. You'll need to leave your truck at the Ohio or Pennsylvania terminal during your time off.
What you'll haul
The freight is dry van, 100% no-touch, with drop and hook on about 85% of loads.
Equipment
Most trucks are 2023-2026 automatic Freightliner Cascadia Condos with a 72-inch sleeper, TV, microwave, fridge, free Sirius XM radio, inverter, air release fifth wheel, dual air ride seats, Opt-Idle, and the 68 mph PassSMART program now available.
Requirements
- At least 8 months of recent CDL-A tractor-trailer experience
- No more than 3 moving violations in the last 3 years
- No preventable DOT recordable accidents in the last 3 years
- No DUI, DWI, or OWI in the last 5 years
