Our company is looking for a CDL-A driver to haul freight on local and regional routes, keeping deliveries on schedule and freight secure.
Pay
- $0.65 - $0.70 per mile
What you'll haul
- General freight via tractor-trailer
- Routes cover local and regional areas
Responsibilities
- Operate the tractor-trailer safely, following traffic laws and safety rules
- Complete pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Keep accurate records of driving hours, freight and delivery paperwork
- Stay in contact with dispatch about schedules, route changes and any problems on the road
- Secure loads properly so cargo doesn't shift in transit
Requirements
- Valid CDL A with a clean driving record
- At least 2 years driving tractor-trailers
- Previous delivery driving experience showing reliability and punctuality
- Familiarity with safe, efficient route driving
- Good communication skills for working with dispatch
