CDL-A Trainee Driver — $1,000 Guaranteed Weekly Pay, Home Every 2 Weeks

This Wilson, NC based OTR role is built for new CDL-A holders or drivers with at least 6 months of solo experience, with a written pay guarantee backing up your training period and your first months on the road. Teams and owner operators are also welcome to apply.

Requirements

• New CDL-A holders accepted, or at least 6 months of verifiable solo driving experience

• Teams and owner operators can apply

• Valid Class A CDL, current DOT medical card, and minimum age 21

• Clean driving record and background check

• Must pass both hair and urine drug screens

• Completion of 120+ hours at an accredited CDL school to begin

Training

• Weekly pay is guaranteed while you train

• You'll ride with a one-on-one mentor on the road

• Once training wraps up, you move directly into solo mileage pay

Pay

• On the OTR pay package, weekly earnings average $1,400 to $1,800

• Your first 3 months as a solo driver come with $1,000 guaranteed weekly pay

• A performance bonus program is available

• Short haul loads pay $75 plus mileage, and stop pay is $15

What you'll haul

• Steady freight across mixed lanes and customers

• A mix of live loading and unloading, preloaded trailers, and drop and hook

• Reliable mileage week to week

Home time

• You're home every two weeks

• Dispatch runs both day and night

• Weekends are part of the schedule, but holiday work is strictly optional, never required
