CDL-A Tanker Truck Driver — Home Daily, Hudson NC

Our company in Hudson, NC is hiring a CDL-A truck driver for a local/regional route that gets you home every day. You'll haul raw materials, finished goods and empty drums between customer sites and the Hudson facility, working within a safety-minded operations team.

What you'll haul

• Deliver and pick up raw materials, finished products and empty drums using a tractor-trailer

• Help load and unload trailers when needed

• Collect delivery paperwork at customer stops and return drums as directed

Home time

• You're home every day, working out of Hudson, NC

What you'll do

• Run pre-trip inspections and keep the truck safe to drive

• Keep DOT logs and shipping documents up to date

• Flag any maintenance or repair issues

• Represent the company professionally with customers and vendors

• Focus on getting deliveries done safely and on time

Requirements

• Class A CDL

• Hazmat and tanker endorsements

• TWIC card

• Tractor-trailer/tanker experience of 18 months or more preferred

• Driving record that meets company standards

• Must pass pre-employment driving evaluation, DOT physical, drug/alcohol screen, background check and physical ability testing

• Solid grasp of traffic laws and regulations

• Comfortable working independently with a customer-service mindset

• Job involves walking, standing, sitting, bending and handling materials, with occasional lifting or moving of items up to 100 pounds using proper equipment; accommodations available where reasonable
