CDL-A Tanker Hazmat Driver — $33–$34/hr, 2-Day Runs

Our company is hiring a CDL Class A Hazmat Tanker Driver based in Hernshaw, WV, delivering explosives and specialty products to customer sites. Most trips are 2-day runs, giving a fairly predictable schedule while still involving overnight travel. This is a full-time, permanent role with paid training provided.

Pay

• $33 - $34 per hour

Home time

• Home-based in Hernshaw, WV

• Most runs are 2-day trips

• Schedule: Monday to Friday, weekends as needed

What you'll haul

• MAXAM products (explosives and specialty products) in tanker trailers requiring hazmat handling

What you'll do

• Operate company trucks and trailers safely, following all regulations

• Deliver products to customer sites

• Operate hydraulic, mechanical, and manual loading/unloading equipment

• Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections

• Load, transport, and unload products

• Keep accurate delivery records

• Interact with customers and help with orders

• Monitor truck and trailer condition, including basic troubleshooting and minor maintenance

• Help with facility and site operations when not driving

Requirements

• Valid CDL Class A license with both Tanker and Hazmat endorsements

• At least 1 year of commercial tanker driving experience

• Clean driving record

• Able to pass a background check and required screening

• Comfortable with overnight travel

Training

• 3-4 weeks of fully paid training on products, equipment, and regulations
