About this job
A Michigan-based residuals management company is looking for CDL-A drivers with a tanker endorsement for out-of-town work across the state. You'll travel Monday through Friday and be home on weekends, working mainly in spring, summer and fall (winter work depends on weather).
Pay
- Pay depends on your experience, with earning potential of $85,000+ a year
- Overtime kicks in after 40 hours
- Typical weeks run 60-70 hours
- Wages and performance get reviewed at the 90-day mark
- Performance-based bonuses are available
- Daily per diem and lodging are provided while you're on the road
Home time
You'll be out during the week on in-state travel and return home on weekends.
What you'll haul
This is no-touch bulk and tanker freight.
Requirements
- Clean, insurable driving record
- Tanker endorsement
- Must pass an onsite road test
- Comfortable working as part of a team
- Strong communication skills
- Willing to be trained for confined space work
- Able to climb and lift up to 50 pounds
- Experience preferred but not required
- Open to applicants without a high school diploma/GED or college degree, and to those under 18 where legally permitted
- Military experience welcome, as is someone new to the workforce
