CDL-A Tanker Driver — Home Nightly, $26–$30/hr

QR Transport needs a Class A CDL driver with tanker endorsement to haul food-grade soybean oil from the Valders, WI refinery to customers mainly in Milwaukee and Chicago, with occasional runs to Green Bay and Owen, WI. You'll be home every night and work as part of a stable, established company.

Pay

• $26.00-$30.00 per hour, depending on experience

• Bi-annual bonus pay incentive

Schedule

• Monday through Friday, 40-50 hours per week

• Home every night

What you'll haul

• Crude and food-grade soybean (vegetable) oil, transported from the Valders, WI site to customers in Milwaukee, Chicago, Green Bay, and occasionally Owen, WI

What you'll do

• Load and unload product, checking each delivery for accuracy and keeping it on schedule

• Complete a daily inspection of your truck and trailer, handle basic maintenance, and report any problems

• Follow DOT, FMCSA, and company safety and food-safety standards

• Keep accurate logs, route records, and delivery paperwork

• Take on other tasks as needed

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Valid Class A CDL with tanker endorsement

• Valid DOT medical card

• Able to pass FMCSA-required drug and alcohol testing (pre-employment, random, for cause, and post-accident)

• Solid understanding of traffic laws and DOT rules

• Strong communication skills in English, spoken and written, with good customer service habits

• Comfortable working solo as well as part of a team

• Reliable, self-motivated, and open to learning new systems, including fleet management tools (Motive experience is a plus)

• Physically able to bend, squat, climb onto tankers, sit, stand, walk, reach overhead, use fine hand movements, push, pull, occasionally kneel, and lift or carry up to 50 lbs
