CDL-A Tanker Driver — $34/hr Start + Sign-On Bonus

Our company is hiring a CDL-A tanker driver out of Worth, IL 60482 for Chicago-area freight. You'll run steady routes for repeat customers, hauling food-grade bulk liquids with 3-4 stops daily. The customers handle unloading, so your job is securing and sealing the tank.

Pay

• Starting rate of $34/hr

• Monthly bonus opportunities

• $40 per diem on nights you're away from home

• $3,000 total sign-on bonus, split into $1,500 at the 90-day mark and $1,500 at 6 months

Schedule

• Monday through Friday, clocking in around 4-5 AM

• Roughly 50 hours weekly

• Two overnight trips per week

• Some Saturday work may come up

• Overtime is not paid

What you'll haul

• Food-grade liquid loads such as vegetable oil, milk, orange juice, and alcohol

• Mostly day-cab equipment from 2018 or later, with your own assigned truck (no slip seating)

• Trucks stay at a designated tank wash location

• You'll log hours through an electronic logging app

Requirements

• Class A CDL

• Minimum of 5 years behind the wheel with a CDL A

• At least 2 years pulling tankers

• Must hold both Tanker and Hazmat endorsements

• Comfortable driving manual transmission

• Clean of felony convictions for the last 10 years

• Driving record limited to one moving violation or one at-fault crash, not both
