CDL-A Tanker Driver — $34–$38/hr + $900/mo Housing

Our company is hiring a CDL-A driver to haul CNG trailers to customer sites and company facilities in the Williston, ND area. This is a full-time role transporting compressed natural gas, with a 90-day probationary period before the position becomes permanent.

Pay

• $34.00 to $38.00 per hour ($123,000 to $167,000 per year)

• $900/month housing allowance

• Extra pay when working away from your home base: daily per diem, lodging, and transportation

• Quarterly bonuses tied to individual and company performance

Schedule

• Set shift schedule, with overtime possible based on workload

• Expect 12-hour shifts to support field operations

• During emergencies, shifts may run longer than 12 hours for several days in a row

• Must be willing to work in harsh weather conditions

What you'll haul

• CNG (compressed natural gas) trailers delivered and transferred to customer locations and Valence facilities

• You'll work independently, interact directly with customers during deliveries, and run equipment checks (daily, weekly, monthly) to keep everything running safely

• Daily tasks are tracked through Valence's software systems for dispatching, inspections, hours, and safety reporting

Requirements

• Class A CDL with HazMat and Tanker endorsements

• 5 years of driving experience; at least 2 years of verified winter driving in the Bakken or other northern regions

• High school diploma or GED required; 2 years of oil field or natural gas experience preferred

• Basic computer skills, mechanical aptitude, and comfort using hand tools

• Must pass pre-employment and random drug screenings

• Physically able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds, climb, bend, kneel, and perform similar tasks; normal vision and hearing needed for alarms and communication
