About this job
Our company, an LTL carrier with 178 plus service centers across North America, is looking for a sleeper team road driver based out of Mechanicsburg, PA. You'll share driving duties with a partner, running regional and non-regional routes and getting home daily, with no-touch freight.
Pay
- Mileage pay ranges from $0.3815 to $0.4250
- Non-contributory pension plan and 401(k)

What you'll haul
- Palletized and heavy LTL freight, no touch required
Schedule
- Full-time, alternating driving time with your team partner
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL issued in your state of residence
- Hazmat, tanker and doubles/triples endorsements
- At least 21 years old
- Able to meet all DOT and company requirements
- Able to perform the physical demands of the job without undue risk to yourself or coworkers
- Able to read, write and speak English
- Authorized to work in the U.S.
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- A complete 10-year work history is required on your application per FMCSA rules
Responsibilities
- Load and secure cargo before heading out
- Complete pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance issues
- Keep accurate logs of hours, routes and load conditions
- Follow all federal, state and local safety and transportation rules
- Stay in contact with dispatch about schedules, delays or problems on the road
- Deliver on time and handle customer questions professionally
