About this job
Our company is hiring CDL-A drivers for shuttle runs out of Cheswold, DE. You will pull doubles, and possibly triples, between the our company facility and the shuttle yards, and you are home every day.
What you'll do
- Drive a tractor-trailer with double (sometimes triple) trailers between the facility and the shuttle yards.
- Now and then, unload and deliver product to customers along an assigned route schedule.
- Expect hands-on freight: loads average 40-60 pounds, with occasional pieces up to 100 pounds.
Requirements
- Valid Class A commercial driver license and a driving record that meets our company's insurance standards.
- You must be at least 21.
- Pass the company's employment testing.
- Enough English to talk with the public, read road signs and signals, answer official questions and fill out reports and records.
- A doubles/triples endorsement is preferred, but not stated as mandatory.
