About this job
Our company is looking for a Class A CDL shuttle driver to run local truckload routes out of Kalamazoo, MI. This full-time position keeps you home every night, with no-touch freight and a truck assigned just to you.
Schedule
- Tuesday through Saturday, either 4pm to 4am or 5pm to 5am
Pay
- Load pay, averaging $27.00/hour
- Annual safety bonus for driving safely

What you'll haul
- Truckload deliveries, no-touch freight
- You'll have your own dedicated truck to drive
Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL
- Solid understanding of DOT rules and safety requirements for Class 8 vehicles
- Comfortable communicating with shippers and consignees
- Able to lift 50 lbs, climb in and out of cabs and trailers, and sit or stand for extended periods
- Able to read and follow dispatch instructions, use in-cab communication and e-logs, read maps, and plan efficient routes
- Able to perform thorough pre- and post-trip inspections and report findings to dispatch or maintenance
On the road, you'll be expected to follow safety and company policy at all times, report hazards right away, keep customers informed, stay on schedule, and flag dispatch if a delivery time is at risk or anything needs attention before your day ends.
