CDL-A Shuttle Driver — $85,000/Year + $7,500 Bonus

Our company is looking for a Shuttle Driver in Escanaba, MI to run tractor-trailer and straight truck routes picking up and delivering food and food-related products.

Schedule

• Sunday through Thursday evenings, with dispatch at 4pm

Pay and bonus

• $85,000 annually

• $7,500 hiring bonus (terms apply; anyone who worked for a Performance Food Group company in the last 6 months is not eligible)

What you'll haul

• You'll run intrastate and interstate routes - local, over-the-road, shuttle, overnight, and drive-and-drop - picking up logistics loads and other food and non-food products, then delivering or dropping them at PFG warehouses or customer locations

• Over-the-road trip lengths vary depending on the location's needs

• You'll be willing to obtain a doubles endorsement

What the job involves

• Following set routes and delivery schedules to supplier, vendor, and PFG warehouse stops

• Making sure pickups happen on time and the correct product is loaded and received

• Checking loads and paperwork - counting product, reviewing invoices, doing quality checks

• Filling out backhaul paperwork accurately

• Staying in touch with your supervisor about route, load, and schedule status, and flagging any pickup or drop-off issues

• Securing equipment and finishing paperwork at the end of your shift

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent

• At least 6 months of commercial driving experience

• Valid CDL-A

• At least 21 years old

• Meet any applicable state licensing or certification rules

• Clean MVR for the past 3 years

• Pass a post-offer drug test, criminal background check, and road test

• Hold or be able to get a current DOT Health Card

• Able to hand-lift product and use a two-wheeler, lift gate, or similar equipment to move and stack cases ranging from about 10-35 pounds up to roughly 60-90 pounds, depending on location
