CDL-A Shuttle & Transport Driver — $22.33–$29.72/hr, Weekends Off

Our company needs a CDL-A driver to shuttle production materials between their plant and branch locations in the Aurora, CO area. You'll drive a CDL-required vehicle, with or without a trailer, on a consistent 5-day schedule. This is an immediate opening with paid training provided.

Pay

• Hourly pay ranges from $22.33 to $29.72, depending on your skills, experience and qualifications (geographic differentials may apply)

Schedule

• 40-hour work week, Monday through Friday

• Saturdays and Sundays off

What you'll haul

• Production materials moved on a set schedule between our company plant and branch locations

• You'll confirm the right product is picked and loaded for each day's run, then load and unload it safely with proper weight distribution and securement

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Valid CDL-A license

• At least 21 years old

• 1 year of verifiable CDL driving experience, or 90 days if your CDL was issued on or after 2/7/2022 under ELDT rules

• Clean driving record per our company's background policy

• Able to pass a DOT physical and drug screen, and registered with the FMCSA Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse

• Able to lift up to 20 lbs and carry up to 50 lbs

• Strong English communication skills, both spoken and written

• Comfortable reading shipping documents, performing vehicle inspections, and handling DOT compliance tasks

• Capable of operating a tractor-trailer for extended stretches and loading/unloading at delivery stops as needed

On the road, you'll run pre- and post-trip inspections, complete DVIRs, handle minor fixes like topping fluids or swapping wiper blades and bulbs, log your hours per Federal Hours of Service rules using ELDs, and report any safety issues or incidents right away. You'll also keep the vehicle clean inside and out to our company's standards.
