CDL-A Shag Truck Driver — 2nd Shift — $25.33–$28.33/hr + Shift Premium

Our company needs a Shag Truck Driver for 2nd shift to spot trailers at the shipping dock for loading and unloading. You'll run a yard truck or semi-tractor trailer and keep equipment working safely.

Pay

• $25.33 to $28.33 per hour, based on experience

• Extra $1.50 per hour for all time worked on 2nd or 3rd shift

What you'll do

• Move trailers into and out of the shipping dock using a yard truck or tractor trailer

• Make sure loads are properly secured

• Inspect trucks for mechanical issues and confirm safety and emergency gear works

• Position trailers at dock doors by following guidance from the loading crew

• Keep required logs on hours worked and vehicle maintenance per state and federal rules

• Report any vehicle problems, accidents, moving violations or damage

• Support quality, productivity, efficiency and cost goals, and follow all safety rules

Requirements

• Class A CDL required

• Clean driving record per your motor vehicle report

• 2+ years in a similar role preferred

• Able to work independently, solve problems, and communicate well across the company

• Comfortable coordinating with other departments and following food safety and HACCP rules

• At least 18 years old

• Authorized to work in the US (no sponsorship offered)

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred

• Available for weekend work and a fast-paced environment

• Must pass a pre-employment drug test, background check, physical exam and E-Verify, and maintain good personal hygiene
