CDL-A Semi/Transfer Truck Driver — Day Shift, Home Daily

Our company in Dover, OH needs Class A semi and transfer truck drivers for day shift work. You'll haul stone and equipment, clear drill cutting waste, and move waste or recycled materials from transfer stations to the landfill or recycle center.

Schedule

• Shifts start between 2 AM and 6 AM and run 10-12 hours

• You're home every day, no over-the-road routes

• Overtime, weekend, and holiday work may come up

What you'll haul

• Stone, equipment, drill cutting waste, and recyclable or waste materials between transfer stations, the landfill, and the recycle center

Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL

• At least 21 years old

• 1+ year of CDL driving experience

• Must pass a drug screen, background check, clearinghouse review, and motor vehicle record check

• Able to meet the physical demands of the job, with or without accommodation

• Customer-focused, professional, and reliable

What the job involves

• Driving safely under OSHA, DOT, and all applicable laws and company policy

• Pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections

• Safe maneuvering in both residential and commercial settings, including busy traffic

• Accurate recordkeeping

• Attending required safety meetings and training sessions
