CDL-A Semi-Local Driver | Walmart Account

This dedicated grocery account runs out of Cocoa, FL, hauling refrigerated freight to major grocery and club stores across Central Florida, Georgia and South Carolina. Expect late-afternoon starts, overnight driving and live unloads at each stop.

Pay

• $0.11 per mile

• Average weekly earnings of $1,200–$1,300

• Flat per-load pay plus a $10 stop payment

• Swift Driver Performance Bonus included

• Roughly 1,600–2,400 miles per week

Home time

• Shifts typically start 3:00 PM–8:00 PM

• Overnight driving, usually 9 PM to 9 AM

• Layovers roughly every other day, with weekly layovers expected

• Possibly 2 days off mid-week

• Weekend work required; flexibility with start times needed

• Routes stay mostly regional across Central FL, GA and SC

Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL

• At least 1 year of verifiable Class A driving experience

• Both experienced drivers and trainees will be considered

• Clean driving record and current DOT medical card

• SAP drivers not accepted

• Able to handle overnight runs, regional routes and live unloading

• Willing to work weekends and adjust to late-afternoon start times
