CDL-A Route Driver — Home Nightly, $28-30/hr

Our company, a Pacific Northwest company, needs a CDL-A Route Driver in Burlington, WA to run an established customer route picking up and dropping off containerized packages and bulk liquids. You'll be home every night, working mostly Monday through Friday.

Pay

• $28.00-$30.00 per hour

• Quarterly bonuses available through ELR's Driver Safety Bonus Program

Home time

• Home nightly, with a schedule that runs mainly Monday through Friday

What you'll haul

• Bulk liquids and containerized waste picked up from customers

• New antifreeze and other new products delivered and measured out for customers

What you'll do

• Run scheduled stops on your route, plus call-in service requests

• Stay in contact with Dispatch and Customer Service throughout your shift

• Load and unload materials, label containers correctly, and handle required DOT and customer paperwork

• Let existing customers know about new products or services and help bring in new business

• Handle service complaints and loop in management when needed

• Keep your truck clean and in good working order

• Follow all safety and environmental rules

Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL

• High school diploma or equivalent

• 2 years of Class A driving experience preferred; 1-2 years of route-based driving experience strongly preferred

• Tanker endorsement preferred, or willingness to obtain one after hire

• Able to pass a DOT physical

• Comfortable with basic computer use (including Office basics) and basic math

• Good spoken and written English, with the ability to follow instructions given either way

• Strong customer service and problem-solving ability, plus mechanical aptitude preferred

• Able to get forklift certified

• Physically able to stand, walk, sit, reach, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, and lift or move over 75 lbs regularly
