CDL-A Line Driver — Home Daily, Up to $0.79/Mile

Our company is hiring local and regional line drivers in Spokane, WA to move tractor-trailer combinations between terminals and meet points. The company has served Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Nevada, Utah, Arizona and California for 110 years. You would be home nightly and hauling no touch freight.

Pay

• Mileage pay runs from $0.70 to $0.79 per mile, with an extra $0.03 per mile for triples.

• You are also paid for each drop, hook, chaining and fuel, plus your wait time.

• The hourly rate listed is $29.95 to $33.86.

Home time and schedule

• Home nightly.

• You may be asked to work weekends and/or nights when needed.

What the job involves

• Drive tractor-trailer combinations safely and efficiently between terminals or meet points.

• Handle tough conditions such as bad weather and varied road conditions, including putting on chains when needed.

• Meet the company's reliability standard for employees and take on other assigned duties.

Requirements

• Age 21 or older.

• Class A CDL with Hazmat, Tanker and Double/Triples endorsements.

• One year or more of verifiable commercial driving experience on similar equipment.

• A valid DOT medical certificate.

• No DUI, reckless driving or positive drug/alcohol screen in the last 3 years, and a clean driving record overall.

• Able to communicate with customers, coworkers, dispatch and managers, with basic English reading, writing and speaking skills.

• Doubles/triples and chaining experience is a plus but not required.
