Drive a Class A tractor-trailer rig to drop off and pick up storage containers at customer locations. This local role keeps you home every day, Monday through Friday, working with specialized roll-off equipment.
Pay
- $26 to $28 per hour
- Overtime possible depending on customer needs
Schedule
- Local routes, home daily, Monday through Friday
- Shifts may start early morning or during the day, depending on assignment
What you'll haul
- Roll-off storage containers delivered to and retrieved from construction, industrial and commercial job sites
What the job involves
- Operating a Class A roll-off tractor-trailer
- Placing containers precisely and safely at active customer sites
- Securing loads and following all routing, weight and safety rules
- Completing daily equipment checks and required paperwork
- Staying in touch with dispatch about scheduling, site conditions and any problems that come up
Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL
- At least 2 years of commercial driving experience
- Roll-off or container delivery background is a plus
- Able to lift, push and pull items over 50 pounds
- Safety-minded and professional on the job
