CDL-A Road Driver — $0.7561/Mile Linehaul, $32.90/Hr Non-Linehaul

Our company is hiring a Road Driver to move trailers between service centers using tractor-trailer combinations, including doubles and triples. You'll handle hooking and unhooking trailers, pre-trip inspections, paperwork, and following dispatch instructions.

Pay

• $0.7561 per mile for linehaul duties

• $32.90 per hour for non-linehaul duties

What you'll haul

• Tractor-trailer combinations, including doubles and triples (LCV) where applicable

• Loads subject to hazardous materials regulations

Requirements

• Class A CDL with doubles/triples, hazmat, and tank endorsements (hazmat endorsement must be obtained within 120 days of offer acceptance)

• Automatic transmission restriction allowed

• 1 year of driving experience in the last 3 years, or completion of the our company Driver Development Course

• Acceptable motor vehicle record

• Must meet DOT FMCSA Section 391 requirements

• LCV drivers in AZ, CO, FL, ID, IN, KS, MT, ND, NV, OH, OK, OR, SD, and UT must meet LCV qualification standards

• Able to lift/hook trailers requiring about 100 lbs of force multiple times a day

• Able to sit, bend, twist, squat, and climb in/out of the truck for extended periods

Working conditions

• Long-distance driving day and night in all weather

• Exposure to noise, vibration, dust, and diesel fumes

• Exposure to hazardous materials shipped under DOT regulations

• Hours vary by operational need, overnight stays possible
