CDL-A Regional Truck Driver — Up to $110,000/Year, Weekly Home Time

Our company is hiring a regional CDL-A tractor-trailer driver based out of Hope Mills, NC. You'll run regional routes, get home weekly with consecutive days off, and haul no-touch freight.

Pay

• Regional drivers can earn up to $110,000 in their first year.

• You're paid a fixed rate per mile, $0.55-$0.69 per mile, with average annual miles ranging from 62,355 to 196,040 (actual pay depends on location and miles driven).

• Extra activity pay applies on top of mileage pay for things like hooking, live loads and unloads, layovers, bridge crossings, chain-up, weekend mileage, and evening shift work.

• Some situations (accidents, breakdowns, weather closures, trailer issues, wait time, etc.) are paid at an activity rate only, without mileage pay.

• You may also receive Average Daily Pay of $240 per day for qualifying events like PTO, safety days, holidays, bereavement, or jury duty.

• Quarterly safety bonuses and annual raises are included.

Home time

• Weekly home time.

• Consecutive days off each week.

What you'll haul

• No-touch freight deliveries.

• You'll plan your routes, coordinate with your team, and keep freight on schedule while following traffic laws and local restrictions to minimize delays.

What you'll do

• Inspect your tractor-trailer before, during, and after each trip.

• Keep accurate paperwork and electronic logs in line with DOT, state, and company rules.

• Communicate and problem-solve on the road to keep things running smoothly.

• Operate safely and professionally at all times, matching our company's safety standards.

Requirements

• Class A CDL for interstate driving, with a Hazmat endorsement (passed background check) already in hand, or obtained within 120 days of hire.

• At least 30 months of full-time Class A tractor-trailer experience within the past 3 years.

• No more than 2 moving violations in a personal or commercial vehicle over the last 3 years.

• No serious traffic violations in the last 3 years.

• No preventable accidents in the last 3 years.

• No preventable DOT-recordable accidents (disabling damage or injury requiring treatment away from the scene) in the last 10 years.

• No history of a preventable accident resulting in a fatality or catastrophic injury.

• You must live within 250 miles of the assigned facility, or be willing to relocate within that distance within 90 days of hire. Our company determines accident preventability using ATA guidelines.
