CDL-A Regional Truck Driver — Up to $110,000/Year, Weekly Home Time

Our company's private fleet is looking for a Class A CDL driver for a regional route based out of Coldwater, MI. You'll get home weekly, run modern equipment, and get paid for more than just the miles you drive.

Pay

• Mileage rate of $0.55 to $0.69 per mile, with average annual miles between 62,355 and 196,040

• Extra activity pay on top of your mileage rate for things like arrive/arrive drop, bridge pay, chaining up, hooking, live loads and unloads, layovers, weekend mileage, evening shift premium, and regional pay

• Activity-only pay (no mileage rate) for situations like accidents, breakdowns, weather or road closures, cleaning a rejected trailer, waiting on an assigned tractor, going over 70 hours, snow removal, undocking trailers, trailer weight problems, and wait time

• Average Day's Pay (ADP) of $240 per day applies in certain situations, such as PTO, safety days, holidays, deferred holidays, bereavement, jury duty, or a full-day (8+ hour) our company event — you're paid the full ADP even if you don't drive afterward, on top of everything else you earned that day

• First-year regional drivers can earn up to $110,000

• Quarterly safety bonuses and annual pay raises

• Up to four paid safety days per year

Home time

• Home every week

• Consecutive days off each week

What you'll haul

• No-touch freight deliveries

• You'll plan your own day, coordinate with your team to keep loads moving on schedule, and adjust when plans change on the road

What the job involves

• Running efficient routes while following traffic laws and local restrictions to stay on time

• Inspecting your tractor-trailer before, during, and after each trip

• Keeping accurate paperwork and electronic logs, and following all DOT, state, and company rules

• Representing our company's safety and professionalism standards on every trip

Requirements

• Class A CDL valid for interstate driving, with a Hazmat endorsement (cleared background check) already in hand, or willingness to get one within 120 days of hire

• At least 30 months of full-time Class A tractor-trailer driving experience within the past 3 years, or completion of the our company Fleet Development Academy Program

• No more than 2 moving violations in a personal or commercial vehicle over the last 3 years

• No serious traffic violations in a personal or commercial vehicle over the last 3 years

• No preventable collisions in a personal or commercial vehicle over the last 3 years

• No preventable DOT-recordable accidents (with disabling damage or injuries requiring treatment away from the scene) in a commercial vehicle over the last 10 years

• No preventable accident involving a fatality or catastrophic injury, ever, in a personal or commercial vehicle

• You must already live within 250 miles of the Coldwater, MI facility, or be willing to move within that distance within 90 days of starting
