CDL-A Regional Truck Driver — Up to $110,000 First Year, Weekly Home Time

Our company's private fleet is hiring a CDL-A regional driver out of Tobyhanna, PA. You'll haul no-touch freight, run predictable routes, and get home weekly with consecutive days off between trips.

Pay

You're paid a per-mile rate of $0.55 to $0.69 per mile, plus extra activity pay for things like hooking, live loads and unloads, layovers, chaining, weekend miles, and more. Some tasks (like weather delays, breakdowns, or wait time) pay activity pay only, without the mileage rate. Average annual mileage runs between 62,355 and 196,040 miles, though your actual pay depends on location and miles driven. Regional drivers can earn up to $110,000 in their first year. You'll also get an Average Day's Pay rate of $240 per day for qualifying situations such as PTO, safety days, holidays, bereavement, and jury duty. On top of that, there are quarterly safety bonuses and annual raises.

Home time

Expect to be home weekly, with consecutive days off built into your schedule every week.

What you'll haul

This is no-touch freight, so you won't be loading or unloading product yourself.

What the job involves

You'll plan your route, keep freight moving on schedule, and handle logging and paperwork correctly under DOT and company rules. Before, during, and after each trip, you'll inspect your tractor-trailer to make sure it's running safely. You're expected to follow traffic laws and local routing restrictions to keep deliveries on time, while communicating with your team and adjusting to changes along the way.

Requirements

• Class A CDL valid for interstate driving, with a Hazmat endorsement (or willingness to get one, with a cleared background check, within 120 days of hire)

• At least 30 months of full-time Class A tractor-trailer driving experience in the last 3 years (or completion of the our company Fleet Development Academy Program)

• No more than 2 moving violations in a personal or commercial vehicle over the past 3 years

• No serious traffic violations in the past 3 years

• No preventable collisions in a personal or commercial vehicle in the past 3 years

• No preventable DOT-recordable accidents (ones causing disabling damage or requiring medical treatment away from the scene) in a commercial vehicle in the past 10 years

• No preventable accident involving a fatality or catastrophic injury anywhere in your driving history

• You must already live within 250 miles of the Tobyhanna, PA facility, or be willing to relocate within that range within 90 days of being hired
