CDL-A Regional Truck Driver — Up to $110,000 First Year, Weekly Home Time

Our company's private fleet is looking for a Class A CDL driver for a regional route based out of Pottsville, PA. You'll run no-touch freight on predictable schedules with modern equipment, and get home weekly with consecutive days off.

Pay

You're paid a fixed rate per mile, plus extra activity pay for things like hooking, live loads/unloads, layovers, weekend miles, and more. The mileage rate for this role is $0.55 - $0.69 per mile, with average annual miles ranging from 62,355 to 196,040 (actual pay depends on location and miles driven). Regional drivers can earn up to $110,000 in their first year. Some activities, such as accidents, breakdowns, weather delays, or wait time, are paid at an activity-only rate rather than mileage. You may also receive Average Daily Pay of $240 per day for things like PTO, safety days, holidays, bereavement, or jury duty. On top of this, there are quarterly safety bonuses and annual pay raises.

Home time

You'll be home every week with consecutive days off between runs.

What you'll haul

This is no-touch freight, so you won't be loading or unloading trailers yourself.

What you'll do

You'll plan your routes, communicate with your team, and keep freight moving on schedule while following all DOT, state, and company rules. You'll complete your logs and paperwork accurately, inspect your tractor-trailer before and after trips, and drive legal, efficient routes that support on-time delivery.

Requirements

• Class A CDL valid for interstate driving, with a Hazmat endorsement (or willingness to obtain one, with a cleared background check, within 120 days of hire)

• At least 30 months of full-time Class A tractor-trailer driving experience within the past 3 years, or completion of the our company Fleet Development Academy Program

• No more than 2 moving violations in a personal or commercial vehicle in the last 3 years

• No serious traffic violations in a personal or commercial vehicle in the last 3 years

• No preventable collisions in a personal or commercial vehicle in the last 3 years

• No preventable DOT-recordable accidents (involving disabling damage or injuries requiring treatment away from the scene) in a commercial vehicle in the last 10 years

• No history of a preventable accident resulting in a fatality or catastrophic injury, personal or commercial

• Must live within 250 miles of the assigned facility, or be willing to relocate within that distance within 90 days of hire
