CDL-A Regional Truck Driver — Up to $110,000 First Year, Weekly Home Time

Our company's private fleet is hiring Class A CDL drivers for a regional route based out of Grove City, OH. You'll get paid for more than just miles, run on a predictable schedule, and drive newer equipment hauling no-touch freight.

Pay

Regional drivers can earn up to $110,000 in their first year. You're paid a set rate per mile, which for this role runs $0.55 to $0.69 per mile, with average annual mileage between 62,355 and 196,040 miles (actual pay depends on location and miles driven). On top of mileage, you get activity pay for things like hooking, live loads and unloads, layovers, stops, weekend miles, bridge pay, chain pay and evening shift premiums. Some activities, such as accidents, breakdowns, weather delays, and wait time, are paid at an activity-only rate. You can also receive Average Daily Pay of $240 for qualifying full days such as PTO, holidays, safety days, bereavement or jury duty. Quarterly safety bonuses and annual raises are also part of the package.

Home time

You're home weekly, with consecutive days off each week built into the schedule.

What you'll haul

Freight is no-touch, and you'll run optimized regional routes, following traffic laws and local restrictions to keep deliveries on time.

What the job involves

You'll plan your day, coordinate with your team, and keep freight moving safely and on schedule. That means staying on top of paperwork and electronic logs, following DOT and company rules, inspecting your tractor-trailer before and after each trip, and communicating clearly when plans change on the road.

Requirements

• Class A CDL valid for interstate driving, with a Hazmat endorsement (or willingness to obtain one, with a cleared background check, within 120 days of hire)

• At least 30 months of full-time Class A tractor-trailer driving experience in the past 3 years, or completion of our company's Fleet Development Academy Program

• No more than 2 moving violations in a personal or commercial vehicle over the last 3 years

• No serious traffic violations in the last 3 years

• No preventable collisions in the last 3 years

• No preventable DOT-recordable accidents (disabling damage or injury requiring treatment away from the scene) in the last 10 years

• No history of a preventable accident resulting in a fatality or catastrophic injury

• Must live within 250 miles of the Grove City, OH facility, or be willing to relocate within that range within 90 days of hire
