CDL-A Regional Truck Driver — Up to $110,000 First Year, Weekly Home Time

Our company's private fleet is looking for a Class A CDL driver to run regional routes out of Gordonsville, VA. You'll get paid for more than just miles, work a predictable schedule, and drive modern equipment hauling no-touch freight.

Pay

• Regional drivers can earn up to $110,000 in their first year.

• You're paid a set rate per mile, between $0.55 and $0.69 per mile, with average annual mileage ranging from 62,355 to 196,040 (actual pay depends on location and miles driven).

• Certain tasks pay mileage rate plus activity pay (for example: hooking, live loads and unloads, layovers, weekend miles, bridge pay, chain pay, and evening shift premiums).

• Other situations, like accidents, breakdowns, weather delays, or wait time, are paid as activity pay only.

• You may also receive Average Daily Pay of $240 per day for things like PTO, safety days, holidays, bereavement, or jury duty.

• Quarterly safety bonuses and annual raises are part of the package.

Home time

• You're home weekly, with consecutive days off each week built into the schedule.

What you'll haul

• Freight is no-touch, so you won't be loading or unloading by hand.

What the job involves

• Operate your tractor-trailer safely, checking it before, during, and after each run.

• Keep accurate paperwork and electronic logs, following DOT and company rules.

• Plan your day, coordinate with your team, and adjust to changes on the road.

• Drive optimized routes while following traffic laws and local restrictions to stay on time.

Requirements

• Class A CDL valid for interstate driving, with a Hazmat endorsement (or willingness to get one, after a cleared background check, within 120 days of hire).

• At least 30 months of full-time Class A tractor-trailer experience in the past 3 years, or completion of the our company Fleet Development Academy.

• No more than 2 moving violations in the last 3 years (personal or commercial vehicle).

• No serious traffic violations in the last 3 years.

• No preventable accidents in the last 3 years, and no preventable DOT-recordable accidents in the last 10 years.

• No history of a preventable accident causing a fatality or catastrophic injury.

• You must live within 250 miles of the Gordonsville, VA facility, or be willing to move within that distance within 90 days of hire.
