CDL-A Regional Truck Driver — Up to $110,000 First Year, Home Weekly

Our company is looking for a regional CDL-A tractor-trailer driver to run out of its London, KY facility at 3701 West Hal Rogers Parkway. You'll haul no-touch freight on regional lanes and get home every week with consecutive days off.

Pay

• First-year earnings of up to $110,000 are possible for regional drivers

• You're paid a fixed rate per mile, between $0.55 and $0.69, with average annual miles ranging from 62,355 to 196,040 (actual pay depends on location and miles driven)

• Many tasks pay the mileage rate plus extra activity pay (examples: hooking/unhooking, live loading or unloading, layovers, bridge pay, chain pay, weekend miles, evening shift premium)

• Some situations pay activity pay only, such as accidents, breakdowns, weather closures, cleaning a rejected trailer, or wait time

• Average Day's Pay of $240 applies for things like PTO, safety days, holidays, bereavement, and jury duty, plus a full day's pay for attending a full-day our company event

• Quarterly safety bonuses and annual raises are part of the package

• Home every week, with consecutive days off

What the job involves

• Plan your route and schedule, coordinate with your team, and keep shipments moving on time

• Complete all paperwork and e-logs correctly, following DOT and company rules

• Inspect your tractor-trailer before, during, and after trips

• Drive legal, efficient routes that avoid delays

• Represent our company's safety and professionalism standards on every trip

Requirements

• Class A CDL with Hazmat endorsement (cleared background check), or ability to get the endorsement within 120 days of hire

• At least 30 months of full-time Class A tractor-trailer driving experience within the past 3 years, or completion of the our company Fleet Development Academy

• No more than 2 moving violations in the last 3 years (personal or commercial vehicle)

• No serious traffic violations in the last 3 years

• No preventable collisions in the last 3 years

• No preventable DOT-recordable accidents in the last 10 years

• No preventable accident involving a fatality or catastrophic injury on your driving record

• Must live within 250 miles of the London, KY facility, or be willing to relocate within that range within 90 days of hire
