About this job
Our company is looking for a Class A truck driver to run regional dry van routes. Freight is no-touch, you'll be home on weekends, and the schedule runs Monday through Friday.
Pay
- $1,400.00 - $2,000.00 per week
Home time
- Weekends off, consistent Monday-Friday schedule
What you'll haul
- No-touch dry van freight only, on set regional lanes
What the job involves
- Running an automatic transmission tractor-trailer safely and following all company and safety rules
- Getting loads to their destinations on time while keeping up safety practices
- Doing pre-trip and post-trip vehicle checks
- Keeping accurate records of hours driven, freight paperwork and delivery details
- Following all federal and state trucking regulations on the road
Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL
- At least one year driving a tractor-trailer
- Solid understanding of freight handling and load/unload procedures
- Able to plan routes and stay on schedule
- Physically able to handle long days on the road and complete vehicle inspections
