About this job
Our company, a family-run carrier with more than 25 years in business, needs CDL-A drivers for dedicated regional lanes out of Salt Lake City. You'll run no-touch reefer freight and get home weekly.
What you'll haul
- Dedicated freight between Salt Lake City, California and Phoenix (round trip back to SLC)
- Occasional trips into the Pacific Northwest and Denver
- Loads are 100% no-touch, and most freight coming into Salt Lake is already drop-trailer
- You'll drive an assigned late-model truck (under 3 years old) paired with a reefer trailer, equipped with an inverter and refrigerator
Home time
Expect to be home on a weekly basis, with most drivers getting 3 nights at home.
Pay
- Annual earnings range from $75,000 to $100,000, depending on how much home time you take
- Mileage pay is calculated off the odometer for every mile driven
- Per-mile rate falls between $0.50 and $0.59

What the job involves
- Operating a tractor-trailer safely
- Keeping accurate daily logs and completing full pre-trip and post-trip inspections
- Hitting delivery appointments on time
- Watching and maintaining correct reefer temperatures during transit
Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL
- At least 2 years of OTR driving experience
- Manual transmission experience is a strong plus
- Clean MVR and a current medical card
