About this job
Run a dedicated Target account out of the Stuarts Draft, VA distribution center, hauling dry freight on set lanes across MD, NJ, PA, VA, WV and the DC area. You get home every week for your 34-hour reset.
Routes and freight
- Dry freight delivered to Target stores
- Deliveries cover MD, NJ, PA, VA, WV and the DC area
- Based out of the distribution center at 345 Mount Vernon Rd., Stuarts Draft, VA 24477
- Set lanes averaging 1,900 miles a week
- Mostly drop and hook; a few small format stores need a driver unload assist
Schedule
- Home weekly with a 34-hour reset
- The account operates 24/7, including holidays
- Be ready to work both day and night shifts
Equipment
- Automatic transmission trucks only
- Newer fleet with up-to-date equipment

Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL
- At least 21 years old
- 3 or more months of recent Class A CDL driving experience
- Taking the truck home is allowed if you're within 35 miles of your last delivery and have a safe, secure place to park
