About this job
Our company is looking for a regional CDL-A driver based near Clinton Township, MI to run dedicated, mostly no-touch freight across the Midwest, with weekly home time.
Home time
- You'll be out 5.5 days with a 34 hour reset at home, starting Sunday or Monday.
Pay
- Paid $0.65 per mile.
- Drivers average 2,200 miles a week, which works out to about $1,470 a week and $77,000 a year.
- Stop-offs and detention pay $20 each.
- New hires get a $2,000 sign-on bonus after a 1.5-day orientation (experienced drivers), or 1 week of paid orientation plus 2 weeks of on-the-job training for recent CDL-A grads.
- Refer a driver and earn $2,000, paid out in two installments.
- Extra bonus opportunities are available for inspections, plus monthly and quarterly performance.
What you'll haul
- This is dedicated, 100% no-touch freight, with 90% coming from non-brokered customers.
- Expect a mix of unloads and drop-and-hook, with drop-and-hook making up 30-40% of loads.
- Routes cover Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kentucky, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Ohio, and Wisconsin.
Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL; recent grads are welcome to apply.
- No DUI, DWI, or other alcohol-related convictions within the past 5 years.
- Must live within 60 miles of 18125 East 10 Mile Rd, Roseville, MI 48066.
- Drivers with military experience are encouraged to apply.
