About this job
Smart Logistics Group is looking for CDL-A drivers for regional routes in Indiana. Both new CDL-A graduates and experienced drivers are welcome, running newer trucks with weekly home time.
Pay
- $0.55 to $0.85 per mile, with entry-level drivers starting near the lower end and experienced drivers earning up to the top rate
Home time
- Weekly home time on regional runs
What you'll haul
- Regional freight, not OTR, with steady and dependable miles
- Brand-new, modern tractors
Requirements
- Valid CDL-A license
- Authorized to drive commercial vehicles in the United States
- Comfortable running regional routes with weekly home time
- Safety-focused and professional on the road
- New CDL-A graduates are encouraged to apply
What you'll do
- Drive a tractor-trailer safely and follow federal, state and company rules
- Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections and report any maintenance issues
- Keep accurate logs under Hours of Service rules
- Deliver loads on your assigned regional routes and meet scheduling needs
- Stay in communication with dispatch and follow routing and safety guidance
