About this job
Smart Logistics Group is hiring CDL-A drivers for regional routes in Pennsylvania. Both new CDL-A graduates and experienced drivers are welcome, with newer trucks and weekly home time for everyone.
Pay
- $0.55 to $0.85 per mile, depending on experience: newer drivers start around $0.55 CPM, while experienced drivers can earn up to $0.85 CPM
Home time
- You'll be home every week
- Routes are regional, not over-the-road
Equipment
- Newer, late-model tractors
What you'll do
- Drive a tractor-trailer safely under federal, state and company rules
- Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections and flag any maintenance issues
- Keep accurate logs under Hours of Service rules
- Deliver freight on your regional routes on schedule
- Stay in contact with dispatch and follow routing and safety guidance
Requirements
- Valid CDL-A license
- Legally authorized to drive commercial vehicles in the US
- Safe, professional driving habits
- Ready to run regional routes with weekly home time
