CDL-A Regional Truck Driver — Average $110,000/yr, Home Weekends

Penske Logistics needs full-time CDL-A drivers to run multi-stop regional deliveries of parts and supplies to automotive dealerships out of Cincinnati, OH. You'll travel to an assigned location and work from there for the length of the assignment, with nights away from home during the week and typically back for the weekend.

Pay

• Drivers average $110000 annually

• Referral bonus program pays up to $5000 per referral

• Paychecks issued every Friday

Home time

• Expect to be on the road overnight during the workweek

• Home time is typically on weekends

• Dispatch start times shift depending on the assignment

What you'll haul

• Multi-stop runs delivering parts and supplies to automotive dealerships

• You'll unload freight by hand using pallet jacks, hand trucks and rolling cages

• Each delivery is scanned as it comes off the trailer

Equipment

• You'll run newer trucks maintained by Penske

• Trucks are spec'd for driver comfort and safety

• Cabs include forward- and rear-facing cameras for safety monitoring

Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL, with a home address and license in the state you live in

• Must hold or be able to get a non-excepted interstate DOT medical card

• At least 1 year of tractor-trailer experience in the past 3 years, or 2 years in the past 5 years

• No more than two moving violations or accidents on your 3-year driving record

• Must be proficient in English per DOT rule 49 C.F.R. 391.11(b)(2)

• Willing to follow the assigned schedule and work location, complete a Penske application, and pass a background check and drug screen

• This is a DOT-regulated, safety-sensitive role requiring constant alertness and accountability for your own safety and others'

• Able to see and hear well enough to meet the job's visual and physical demands, including standing, walking, reaching, and lifting up to 50 lbs regularly (occasionally up to 100 lbs)
