CDL-A Regional Truck Driver — $68,000–$85,000/Year, Weekly Home Time

Our company runs regional and dedicated truckload routes hauling refrigerated and non-refrigerated freight, including live haul, tankers, container chassis and grain hoppers. This CDL-A regional role gets you home weekly and pays well, based out of several multi-state terminals.

Pay

• Annual earnings range from $68,000 to $85,000, with top performers bringing in $95,000 or more

• You're paid for all miles, loaded or empty, except on your way home

• Extra pay applies for breakdowns, layovers, in-transit layovers, added stops or pickups, and unloading duties

• Orientation is paid

• JBS covers lumper fees

• A $3,000 retention bonus is offered, along with monthly safety bonuses

• Referring a driver can earn you up to $3,100: $50 weekly during their first year, plus a $500 bonus at their 3-month mark

Home time

You'll get 1 day off for every 7 days on the road.

What you'll haul

• Routes cover multiple states, running regional and dedicated freight

• Average weekly mileage is 2,000 or more

• Truck assignments can be at any JBS terminal — there's no guarantee you'll be based out of your home terminal

• About 75% of shippers use drop-and-hook; 80% of deliveries are live unloads

Requirements

• Minimum age 21

• CDL-A license with at least 1 year of tractor-trailer experience

• Experience with 48'-53' trailers required

• Drivers with less than a year of experience can join through the mentor or training program
