About this job
Smart Logistics Group is looking for CDL-A drivers for regional routes, whether you're a recent CDL-A graduate or an experienced driver. You'll run consistent regional freight with newer trucks and get home every week.
Pay
- $0.55 to $0.85 per mile (CPM), based on experience level
Home time
- Weekly home time
- Regional operation, not over-the-road
Equipment
- Brand-new, modern tractors
What you'll do
- Drive a tractor-trailer safely under federal, state and company rules
- Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections and flag any maintenance issues
- Keep accurate logs per Hours of Service rules
- Deliver loads on your assigned regional routes on schedule
- Stay in regular contact with dispatch and follow safety and routing guidance
Requirements
- Valid CDL-A
- Legally able to drive commercial vehicles in the US
- Safety-focused, professional approach to the job
- Open to running regional routes with weekly home time
