About this job
Our company is looking for a regional CDL-A tanker driver out of its Salisbury, NC terminal. You'll run NC, SC, VA and possibly other nearby states, with most nights at home.
Pay
- Weekly gross pay averages $1,200–$1,500, with room to earn more
- Posted pay is up to $1,500.00 per week
- $5,000.00 sign-on bonus
- $3,000 referral bonus for every driver you bring on, with no cap on how many you can refer
- Extra bonuses tied to safety and performance
Home time
Expect to be out 1-2 nights per week, with occasional longer trips. Parking available in Salisbury or Greensboro.
What you'll haul
Tanker and hazmat freight across North Carolina, South Carolina, Virginia and potentially other states nearby.
Equipment and safety
- Trucks equipped with a forward-facing event recorder and collision avoidance system
- Governed at 68 mph, both on the pedal and on cruise
- In-depth hazmat safety training program
Requirements
- CDL-A with Tanker and Hazmat endorsements
- TWIC card required, or willingness to get one
- At least 1 year of verifiable tractor-trailer experience within the last 3 years, or 1 year of tanker experience within the last 10 years
- A steady work history
